Pondering over this week

Wherefore , ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ , having a perfect brightness of hope and the love of God and all men. Wherefore if ye shall press forward feasting upon the word of Christ and endure to the end, behold , thus saith the father: Ye shall have eternal life.  2 Nephi 31: 20

This has stood out to even before studying this week. I know that this scripture is the Youth theme for next year. I think that this scripture reminds me to endure to the end and keep moving along the path . That through Christ I will have hope. Being Steadfast means to me unmovable and having unshakable faith in him, Feasting upon the words means that I should keep doing what I’m doing now by really studying the scriptures and applying them to my life. I can tell you that I haven’t been doing kind of studying since being in this class. I’m more open to listening to the spirit since being in this class and since doing the Becoming project.

Enduring to the end is different for everyone because my path is different from others. I’ve had my patriarchal blessing for some time , and I know that can guide me . I’m trying to stay on my correct course and hopefully understand all those classes I need to get my degree and be better to live with him again.

Last night we had a Family Home evening where we finished discussing ways we can come closer to Christ. The kids all got a picture book and were able to put pictures of Christ in, temples, and other kid photos. We all then had to explain why we chose a certain sticker, photo and why it reminded it of Christ. I ended up sharing a picture of a girl praying because its our communication to him. My kids all ended up sharing something different . But it was another FHE where we had the spirit there. I think my studying and making changes is helping the family little by little.
